About BlueWater Resort & Casino
We are a full-service non-smoking casino and the only Arizona gaming resort on the Colorado River. Owned and operated by the Colorado River Indian Tribes (CRIT) since 1999, BlueWater has driven cultural and recreational tourists to Parker and the greater Lake Havasu area for gaming, vacation trips, and adventures on the river.
BlueWater’s 30,000 square foot gaming floor features over 450 slot machines and eight gaming tables. The hotel resort has over 200 rooms overlooking the Colorado River, six suite options, and an indoor swimming pool and waterslide. Guests can enjoy four restaurants and two bars as well as entertainment at the Amphitheater, Showroom, BlueWater Cinemas, and Dig Entertainment Lounge.
Resort guests may launch their boats and jet skis from the marina and boat launch, which offer 100 boat slips and a Marina Shop with snacks, beer, ice, and other goods for river activities. The resort’s other outdoor amenities include a beachfront, island, RV parking program for dry camping, and EV charging stations.
About Colorado River Indian Tribes (CRIT)
Mohave, Chemehuevi, Hopi, and Navajo
We are proud to serve the Colorado River Indian Tribes (CRIT). The federally recognized tribes include the Mohave and Chemehuevi, who have lived along the Colorado River for centuries, and the Hopi and Navajo, whom the Federal Government relocated after establishing the CRIT Reservation in 1865. Today, CRIT owns and leases land in Parker, AZ – including BlueWater, CRIT Museum, and administrative offices.
The tribes’ main economic driver is agriculture, ranging from traditional uses of mesquite trees for food, cooking, and ceremonies to present-day growing of cotton, alfalfa, and sorghum. In recent decades, the Tribal economy has also expanded into fields such as sand and gravel, retail, real estate development, and tourism at BlueWater.
